An 8th Grader in Wisconsin Called Me…

March 3, 2008 on 12:29 pm | In Uncategorized |

I just wanted to take a moment to tell you all about a phone call I received from an 8th-grader named Asher (I hope I got your name right) who left me a message about this website.

Apparently he’s found useful resources here and is a very big Barack Obama supporter!

I’d love to take credit for all of the items listed here on this blog, but many of them have come from a variety of different sources (credits listed whenever possible).

But I think the fact that Senator Obama has inspired people of all ages, from this awesome 8th grader in Wisconsin, to the 87 year-old woman I spoke to on the phone here in Houston (who is bound and determined to attend her precinct convention on Tuesday, wheelchair be damned!) is a testament to the kind of change we are all striving so hard to help Barack Obama make.

So that’s a good motivator for the next 2-days for all of us here in Texas and those of you working your fingers to the bone making phone calls and knocking on doors in Ohio, Vermont and Rhode Island!

I feel like all of the effort I’ve put into this campaign has come back to me 100 fold!

Let’s wrap this up for Sen. Obama and get to the hard work of changing politics in Washington and making our world all the better for it!
